Getting to Know Me
If
you read my 20 for 20 post way back at the beginning of the year, you’ll know
that one of the things I wanted to do this year was write 100 facts about
myself. Not really sure why I wanted to do this, but I thought it might be fun.
And I thought it would be a good way for you guys to find out a bit more about
the girl behind the laptop.
I’ve
split the 100 facts into four and I plan to upload one every few months. I had
planned to do one every quarter but somehow March came and went without me
really knowing what on earth was going on (ditto for April) and so I find
myself in May, uploading a post that was scheduled for March!!
Anyways,
here are 25 facts about yours truly:

born in the East End of London on 15 May

only placed I’d accept lumpy mash from is a pie and mash shop because, well,

11. My
favourite housework job to do is the ironing

much so that I dragged my husband to Stratford-upon-Avon so I could see him in
Hamlet
19. Despite
being a girly-girl I prefer action films to chick-flicks
20. I
cried my eyes out when I read A Thousand Splendid Suns, and I was on the train
coming home from work at the time
21. I had
never missed my stop on the train in all the years I commuted to work, until 2
days before leaving when I went out with my boss and got drunk!
22. The
older I get the longer my hangovers take to kick in (although I’m not sure if
this is just part of getting old!)
